Three of the images in this missive are from my archives for various reasons. This one, for March 8, is the photo a day challenge “sunset” .... the “sunset” the night before was disappointing. This one is much more inviting.It’s another day staying in to work on two projects that I want to print tomorrow. I have the bulletin back from Donna and updated so it is ready to print. I have worked on the annual report to the point of the graphics. I want to get a draft copy of that printed tomorrow so I can see if I need to put some finishing touches here and there. I may need to move some things around and I know I need to add some more photos before it will be complete.

I took a break from the computer tasks to get some dishes and kitchen work done.
The first photo of the day for today is “from the inside of my the car”. I went to the archives for this one because I liked the overall look and use of space. The second image for today is “hobbies”. I have a couple of hobbies, this seemed the easiest to compose. I also read and cook and enjoy learning through news and research and use digital technology for cognitive exercises.I have heard before that Columbus is a test area for several products and often wondered why. This article may help show some of the possible reasons. The article started out with this statement: “It may not be widely known outside of Columbus, but major retailers and restaurants have been test marketing new products here for years prior to going to the broader market”. The article mentions reasons why this may be so. One: Columbus is diverse in its young and well-educated people. We have The Ohio State University as well as fifty other colleges and universities with 135,000 plus students and 20,000 graduates annually some out of state and some international who end up staying in our city. According to the article the reasons for them staying is our economy, low cost of living and “high quality of life”. Next, once the product is a “success” it moves to other markets. Again according to the article, Columbus “offers greater access to US population....46% within a ten-hour drive”. We can boast major companies that are recognizable brands, Scotts Miracle Gro, Express, Victoria’s Secret, Wendy’s, and more, all “powerhouse research groups”. We are, according to the article, the Midwest’s fastest-growing metropolitan area and the premier test market”.
We are having baked spaghetti from the left over spaghetti last night.
